    Battery ships dry. Acid ships with it in separate container. Follow enclosed instructions for proper setup.

    Setup Instructions:
    Please read and follow Yuasa’s included instructions. Rushing or skipping steps will result in a short battery life and void warranty. Use caution while working with battery acid and electricity.

    • Remove black cap from acid jug, save for later. Do not puncture the foil caps.
    • Place the acid jug on the battery fill ports and press down to puncture the foil.
    • Allow acid to slowly fill the battery for 2-3 hours.
    • Place the black cap over the fill ports.
    • Allow the battery to sit for at least 12 hours before charging. This is critical for the acid to absorb. Skipping this will significantly shorten the battery life.
    • Charge until full with a 1 or 2 amp charger. This typically takes 4-8 hours.
